Meet Dave
Committed to Service. Committed to Community.
LAKEWOOD ADVISORY COMMISSION
I served on the Lakewood Advisory Commission for the last six years. We researched, solicited and received community feedback, prepared information and recommendations to bring to the city on a number of topics including:

Sidewalks, Trails, & Paths: an interactive map developed in working with city staff that identifies and categorizes missing or inadequate sidewalks, shared use paths, and trails throughout Lakewood;

Dog Parks: potential locations for another dog park in our city;

Kids & Seniors: the ways the city may encourage organizations to develop a "Kids Visiting Senior Program" in Lakewood;

Sustainable Fresh Food: improve access to sustainable, fresh food by revising its permitting process and ordinances;
Veterans: review the current Veterans memorials in the city, recommend ways to raise their visibility, and underscore the need for veterans outreach.
My Commitment to You
My wife and I have had the opportunity to own a home in a wonderful community in Ward 4, to send our kids to local Lakewood schools, and to enjoy the fantastic parks and open spaces that are within minutes of where we live.

I am running to represent and work for all of us in Ward 4 to ensure that everyone in our community has a fair shot at creating a good life in Lakewood.

As a lawyer, I strive to listen carefully, research the issues, look for areas of common ground, and work hard to accomplish my client's goals.

I make the same commitment to you. I don't claim to have all of the answers, but I promise to listen, make certain I understand our community's perspective on issues before the City Council, research the issues, look for common ground with councilors who may have different views, and work hard to advance our needs in Ward 4. I will work to get things done for our city and our neighbors.

I have served on the Board of Directors for several years working to guide its vision and I actively volunteer at its events.
